Hi everyone this video will be discussing how the hubs on jomo247 work.
So lets get started.
To get to our hub manager we need to over our name here. A dropdown menu will then appear and we need to select ‘Manage Hubs’. We are then take to the My hubs page here you are able to see the hubs you have created.
To create a new hub we can select the blue ‘Create New Hub’ button. A popup will appear and we can then give our new hub a name and also add some description about the hub. Once we are happy we can select the ‘OK’ button and as we can see our new hub has now been created.
To edit a hub we can select which hub we wish to edit from the list on the left hand side here. We are able to edit the name , the description and also the availability of the hub. If the hub is private only existing hub users can be invited to an activity and if the hub is public any user can be added. Once we are happy with our changes we can select the ‘Save Changes’ button and as we can see our hub has now been updated.
To add a user to a hub we can select the add user button towards the bottom of the page. A popup will then appear and we can then type in the email of the user we wish to add to our hub. Once we’ve filled in the email we can select the ‘OK’ button. As you can see the user has now appeared in the users list.
If we want to change the permissions of a user we can select the empty checkbox next to their name. We then have the ability to remove the user from the hub. We can also make the user an administrator or we can remove their permissions as an administrator. Once we are happy we can then select ‘Save Changes’ and the user is now updated.
To switch between hubs we can select the hub name at the top of the page here. A popup with all your hubs will then appear and we can now select the hub we want to change to. Once selected click ‘OK’ and as we can see we have now switched to a different hub.
