Hi everyone. This tutorial will walk you through creating, editing and deleting Groups on Jomo247. Creating a group can make assigning tasks and activities to specific sets of people easier and more efficient.
To create a group we first need to hover over our name. A dropdown menu will then appear. If we click on groups we will be taken to a new page. Here we would normally be able to see any groups we have created but as we are yet to create a group our page is empty.
To create a new group we need to click the ‘New Group’ button here on the left hand side of the page.
A dropdown menu will appear with a number of fields to define our new group by.
Firstly, we need to give our group a name. Make sure to keep it relevant for example, you could name your group
relating to their role in your business such as, sales team or accounting.
We can also give our group a description to help provide some extra information about the group.
Finally we have the option to make the group public. If we make the group public other users on the hub can assign the group to tasks and activities. If we choose to keep it private only we will be able to assign the group.
Once we are happy we can go ahead and select the blue ‘Create’ button.
And we can now see our new group has appeared.
If for any reason we wish to edit our group we can select the ‘Edit’ button here on the left hand side of the page. A popup will appear and we are then able to edit the name, the description and whether or not our group is public. Once we are happy with our changes we can select ‘OK’ and the group has now been updated.
If we wish to delete a group, we can simply select the red remove button here on the right hand side of the page and as we can see the group has now been deleted.
And that has been our simple walk through on Groups on Jomo247.
Thanks for watching!
